1 Chronicles 29:11
"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
Sometimes I just get fed up with problems that won’t go away or change.
I start with repeating my problem to God,
usually out of desperation, you know- in case he doesn’t see it or he’s forgotten-lol
Then I try to focus and dive into God’s word to find a verse that pertains to my situation to use against the problem.
I find the answer,
start getting my head filled with his word
and then it happens-
All of a sudden my head starts to think about my problem:
Again, my thoughts turn into how I am going to get out of this?
What will I do?
I need a backup plan.
It’s never going to work- the money won’t be there,
things won’t get better, people still talk, you can’t stop this, you haven’t been healed, etc
I turn back to feeling defeated quickly.
I magnified my problem—Not my God.
You see, something That God has been reminding me lately is how big He is—not my “katzenjammer”.
(uh huh-look that up—it’s uneasiness, anguish or distress-
Now you are impressed, Aren’t you? Lol)
When I focus and put all my energy into worry,
then I have let fear creep in, and that makes God small.
The Veggie tales show has a song “God is bigger than the boogeyman”
Yep, he is.
Remind yourself and the devil of that every chance you get.
